    Tablao Los Lunares

We recently went to Los Tablao on a saturday night for the set menu and Flamenco evening.
I have to say the food was excellent and the dancing and singing superb, even though we understood very little of what the songs were about.
It was lovely to be in a Spanish restaurant, with Spanish food, Spanish people and Spanish entertainment.
    A highly recommended night out.
    Worth every cent.

    Indeed good food

Don't know much about the event, because it's not really my thing, but the food and atmosphere in the restaurant are really great.

We would advise reserving a table for the Flamenco night..
For those who haven't yet been, the food starts just after 22.00 hrs, the dancing at midnight. It finishes about 02.00, but you can stay on later if you wish. in the summer the rooftop terrace is a greatplace to chill out after the show.
Tablao also does a great menu del dia for 8 euros, three courses plus coffee and a drink. There is usually a choice for each course.

    Webby (Jeff),

Avda. de Escandinavia is just about the longest road in GA - about 2 miles at a guess. A more well defined location would be appreciated.

    Hi

From the main roundabout at the top of the hill, head off past the post office, you´ll pass the library and BBVA bank, keep going past the bars on the right. You will arrive at another unit of bars etc about 500 metres further along. Tablao de los Lunares is upstairs, so the entrance is round the back. Also up here you will find,

Panaderia. Cafe, Bread Shop and DVD rental booth.
    Bedmar. Bed store.
    GES Alacant. Internet cafe
Pizza Express. Pizza & Kebabs to eat in or take away.
Los Flamencos. Bar/Restaurant offering great tapas and main meals.
El Paripe. Modern Cafe bar with great roof terrace. Great Menu del dia too!
Tablou. Great flamenco show, but also nice chill out bar again with great roof terrace.
Patagonia Steak House. Full service steak restaurant + All you can eat mixed grill.
    Rendevouz. Modern bar.
On Stage. Great bar with live events.

All the above businesses have great views over the med and Alicante. Also, soon to open a new Chinese Restaurant and a Pizza/Pasta restaurant.

    Hope this helps.
