Doggy poo

We have an 11 month old cross beagle terrier, who every time we take her out insists on eating other dog´s poo.
Vet suggested a muzzle, but we don´t like that idea.
Anyone got any suggestions please?

two of our three dogs also do this, they're also quite partial to rabbit poo!!, there's a vets programme on fab fm which you can listen to online and e-mail with any queries, the link is www.fabfmspain.com it may be worth a try.

I'm sure there are communities that would pay your vet's bill to have you stop buying food for your dog & walk it around their streets!

I have spoken to Vets about this problem before and this happens when a dog is in need of certain vitamins. Suggest you have a good vet´s opinion rather than the answer you got from the Vet you went to. Some Vets are not updated, they think they know it all and do not continue their investigations because they have enough income with what they do. A blood test might help sort things out.
